I just purchased a Spyderco manix and military and wanted to know what the recommended care and sharpening tools should be. I dont' want to ruin the knives....

Has anyone ever purchased from Emergency Options online? I did not see anything about a warranty. Is this strictly from Spyderco?

thanks

The sharpmaker is a good option.

Maintaining S30V is much easier than letting it get dull then trying to sharpen it. When I've let mine go, I've needed to break out a diamond stone to make any significant progress. So if you're a heavy user maintaining it might be a daily thing, if you just open a few boxes or envelopes you could probably go for months.

New Graham knives has been known to take returns on knives. The turn around on sending a defective blade to them would probably be faster than sending it to spyderco. I'd suggest doing research before buying from anyone you have no experience with.
