The knife is 7 7/8" over all with a 3 3/8" by 1/8" thick 440c blade.
It features dovetailed, heat colored titanium bolsters and .050" liners. The thumb bob is titanium and is also heat colored. It can be placed on either side of the blade. The scales are dyed stabilized maple burl and have been buffed to a nice shine. The spacer is .155" precision ground black g10.

Shipping within the US is included in the purchase price. If you live outside the US we'll have to find out how much it'll be. I'd prefer getting a money order but if you need to go Paypal that's ok too.

That burl is awesome!! The heat colored titanium is a nice touch. How do you do that?

David.

Thanks David!
I used a Mapps torch on these but as soon as I get a temp chart I'm going to start using my heat treat oven. It's real touchy to get the color you're looking for with a torch. It took three tries on these.
I did learn to move the flame around the entire bolster instead of holding it on it. It applies the heat more evenly. Then when the ti starts changing colors take the heat away and let it cool for a minute or so. This gives you more control over the color changes. Then go back with the heat and as soon as you see the color you want get the flame off. I set the bolsters on a fire brick so there would be as little residual heat as possible.
Hope this helps some.
Take care and have a grand week end!

Michael, nice folder. How about sharing your findings on the heat colored tit. in heat treat oven.Do you think the color goes deeper with heat than it does with a anodizer????? God bless, Mike

I haven't seen much anodized ti in hand so I can't say Mike.
I have been told heat coloring it more durable than anodizing.
Bill Burke told me you can get a nice blue at 1100.
I tried finding some data on Google but couldn't.
Guess I'll have to experiment and see what happens.

That's a nice one Mike! I'm surprised it's not gone already!

Thank you TF!!
I'm real happy with this pattern!
It's just the right size for pocket carry and if someone wanted a pocket clip put on there's room for that too.
I'm going to make it with a curved wharncliffe blade too.
Should look nice and mean. :)
