Repair Turnaround

Just out of curiosity does anyone know the ballpark for turnaround when you send a knife in for blade replacement?

Shipped out today and expected next Monday at EKI. What are the usual time frames for blade fitting and shipping back?

Well they have had it for a week and counting now. No contact to tell me it was received or anything. Tracking from USPS said delivered over a week ago. Guess I'll cross my fingers and hope I don't have to use the shipping insurance.

So I reached out. Seems they had it but it wasn't labeled. Now it's a waiting game I guess. 3 weeks and counting. I'm going to order a CQC 7 soon. Wonder which will get to me first.

You can't go wrong with any CQC-7. Even the unwaved versions are good.

Got it back last week. Only odd thing is the blade now has a hole in it. I assuming it's for the detent but never seen it like this before.
