Today and tomorrow I'm mailing out all but one of the individually owned khuks sent for repair.
I've tried to protect the finish as much as possible. I also tried to keep repairs as simple as and straightforward as possible, so some of the tangs have been peined at the buttcap and the keeper epoxied on. This ensures a mechanical connection at the tang/buttcap, but the keepers may work loose with use.
If anyone has questions or problems, please e-mail me.
Working on these khuks has been a lot of fun for me. It has also given me the chance to handle a variety of styles and sizes.
The more khuks I handle, the more my admiration of the kamis grows. They are truly some of most magnificent craftsmen imaginable!
