Has anybody handled this sword?
How is the overal quality? Does it come sharp?

Also is the blade strong and does it flex?

I don't have one but I've heard lots about it.

Bascally it's real pattern welded steel of 512 layers. Seems to be free of carbon migration which is good. But the blade is left somewhat soft and flexing is not recommended. I believe it is sharpened and people have choped with it successfully. Though heavy chopping is not recommended with this sword.

The overall quality is mixed. Some like it, some don't. The fuller is not authentic. I think if you're looking for a damascus wall hanger sword. It would do pretty well. If you're looking for a cutting sword there are better choices. But none of them have the pattern welded look.
