Any first hand info would be greately appreciated. How does the edge hold up? How is the weight, and does it cause fatigue quickly? Thanks.

I don't own one so I can't provide any feedback on the edge holding ability. I have used that model though and it is a curious beast. It is much too heavy to use as a throwing and fighting hawk and too light to use as a serious wood chopping implement. I just can't figure out what its design purpose is. I am sure that with your background you will understand exactly what I am trying to say the first time you pick one up and run it through a hawk kata or two. For the same price you can pick up a good forged hawk from most buckskinner vendors.
