I just wanted to share the very pleasant
experience I just had in receiving my Kozuka
from RJ Martin.
First, the man is a pleasure to deal with, I
was treated to a level of service that I've
rarely gotten anywhere. I got the knife in a
very reasonable period of time.
The knife is beautifully made, very well balanced and attractive, and sharper than
any knife I've owned with the possible exception of my Mini-Kozuka.
The sheath is great, being both very secure
on the belt and holding the knife in any position.
I really admire the work of Phill Hartsfield,
but I honestly think Mr. Martin produces a better knife (especially the sheath). At half
the price of a Hartsfield, this is saying a lot.

My 6" kozuka works 12 hours a day & stays sharp enough that it scares pro cooks.

One of the few knives that I consider a companion.

mgkrame,
I wholeheartedly agree with you. Anyone even considering a Hartsfield should check out a Martin. His worksmanship is supurb. I love my kozuka and wouldn't trade for anything costing twice as much. It doesn't hurt that RJ's knives are so d*** sharp either.

I couldn't agree more, my mini Kozuka is incredibly sharp & his mahogany lined / carbon fiber sheath both silent & secure. His fixed knives however are equalled by his folders in every aspect. Great blades, a pleasure to do business with & as professional as they come.
