Hi Greg, nice to see you here again. Lifter and I were wondering about your whereabouts the other evening. I hope life has settled down and all is well.

This knife will certainly go fast.

Win

Hi Win: It is funny, I was just thinking of you today when I pulled my Criswells out of the safe and recalled how you got them for me. I am slowly trying to get my life in order and return to BFC more frequently. Life is so busy. I am glad to see Dave and Gary are still around. I miss you guys.

Well I'll be d###ed! How are you Greg? You still on the "Island"? It's funny as I've just sold off a few including the mate to the Spydie Starmate (pun intended) I picked up for you what? 6 years ago on that trip to Golden, CO!

I wouldn't mind this one from Rob either but a new roof and finally upgrading from a 27" to a 65" TV has my budget for other fun toys at a flat zero :)

Best as always!

--Bob

Never to be forgotten: James Mattis, Walt "Doc" Welch, Rob Simonich

This is like old timer home coming. Bob. Good to see you. I remember that trip to Golden and all the goodies you came back with. I am still on the "island". Life is hectic right now but someday when teenagers grow up it should settle down.

How is your son? Is he still in the Navy? Do you still have your own Starmate? I know you loved that knife.

Good to see the boys around.

Well I'll be buggered ;) I was just talking to Win the other day on the phone about you! Small world, then I was going to try and find a number to call ya too, but didn't find it and wasn't sure just where to call now a days, good to see you back, if I had the funds I'd snag that one from you friend!

What is this - Old Timers Week? Greg, Win, Ye Old Bald One, Gary - Good to see all of you!!!

I'd buy this if I didn't have one and was waiting for my Ralph folder to arrive.

If this is like mine, and I would expect it is, it is an absolutely suprb knife and probably my favourite single edged neck knife. Small, compact, and beautiful. The edge has the perfect slightly upswept shape for both tactical and utility purposes. D2 is a truly outstanding metal, almost stainless but with the benefits of high carbon content. Very solid sheath too.

Greg, Kelly, Win and Bob all in one thread?!? Nice to see all you old timers still around, I sometimes think that Gary and I are the only ones left to show the kids the ropes.

Sorry to see you selling this knife, Greg, I hope you and yours are well. You still need to treck down the coast for a visit one day.

Greg, great to hear that you're doing ok. You have crossed my mind often as the awesome walking stick you made my wife when she was sick resides in our dining room.
Sorry you have to sell this one but it's great to look at the forums and see your name again.

This has made my day hearing from you guys. Dave, I still admire the sheath you made me with the ivory Buck 112. I look at it all the time. James, I always said that out of all the BFC members you probably use a knife more on a daily basis then most! Are you still with the opera? Kelly, last I remember you were starting to make some gorgeous knives. I need to come around more often. Life's roads are curvy at times but they have a purpose.

I will try to post a picture this weekend. The knife is acutally on display with my Fowlers at a local sporting goods store in town. I will need to go there and snap a pix. Thanks for everyone responding.

Old friends: Thank you for the warm welcome. There are times I wish I could just turn back the clock.

Knife is SOLD. Thanks to all for the interest. Rob Simonich was a world class man. A true gentleman.
