Rolling Lock Question...

Bob,

The lock on my SIFU started rattling two days ago. In only does this in the closed position and doesn't effect the function at all. But their is definitely something loose tumbling beneath the liner. Is this normal?
Other than that, I can't say enough good things about the knife.

That isn't the lock the Rolling Lock is under constant spring tention. It is the stop pin which is the top most foward pin with the knife closed if it bothers you a drop of super glue at the liner pin junction will end the rattle we will also repair it ASAP if you so desire.

Mine has got the same rattling. I want to fix it without glue if possible, cuz I'll do disassembling for cleaning my Sifu once in a while. I'm planning to tuck a small piece of metal sheet between the top of the pin and the G10 scale.
Will it work? Or someone knows better idea?

I used a dab of silicone caulk, normally used for bath tubs, on my Carnivore. It worked like a charm.
 
Thanks, WillieBoy. It seems to work well as it'll stick to the top pin and will not stick to the G-10 handle. I'll try this weekend.
