Smoke, I can't directly answer your questions, but he told me that he is very busy making "The Friend" for numerous orders due to the article in Tactical Knives Mag. Because of this, all other projects may be on hold.
Also, i have never handled an SC 1 but I have the Straight Shot and Argentine and I've handled his other knives at the shows - It is fair to say that Ernie makes a first class blade. The most prominent feature of his knives being beautiful balance, quick maneuverability, special heat treat, and fine fighting edge.
