I love this knife. I'd love to see a RC version of it. I know a bunch of people have already said this and I know you guys are in the process of getting everything finished that you already have in the works, but when you get that stuff going, make a new RTAK. I'd be happy to help re-design it.

I didn't think I would like this thing as much as I do. I took it out last night on a little hike and started chopping down everything in sight. This big bastard will lase through 2" branches no problem. Killing a forest should NOT be this much fun. This thing is defenitely my new camp beater... until RC makes a new one.

Sorry for not having any pictures again. It was dark when I headed out so I didn't bother taking the camera with me. I'll get out this weekend and take some pictures of this sucker doing some good deforestation.

the only down side to me on the RTAKII was it was 2+pounds . I liked it but like my other Ontario RATs all have moved along.I will wait for the RAT Cutlery version to hit the shelves one day.... Dylan if I knew you were looking bro,I would of sent you mine...

I appreciate that. I wasn't really actively looking. I happened across it in the exchange and the price was right.

I will be looking for a Khuk at some point to test out, when I get some more money. The only one of those I've ever had is a cheapo thing someone gave me as a Xmas present that looks like a gunshow $5 special. I'm really interested in trying out a good one. I handled a few of them over at Andy's (Fiddleback) house and they look hella fun.

Also, you're right. It is a heavy bastard. That is defenitely a "strapped to the pack, not to my side" knife. That thing would pull my pants right off if it was on my belt.

:D since we are talking non rat cutlery to a degree,I have a Livesay rtak that is kick ass bro,not as thick as the RTAK II but wicked sharp and the micarta scales are super comfy... I do need a better sheath for it though :)....damn everything right handed sheath for the masses:thumbdn:

W gave you wrong-handed people your own can opener. What more do you want? :D

I think you and I might be the only people on the internet today. Everyone else is actually working. lol

Unfortunately, I'm not in what is considered an "economically stable" career. The motorcycle industry has taken a big hit from the recession, along with my business and paycheck. Also, the openings with police departments in my state have been frozen, so my career change into law enforcement will have to wait.

You & I both Bro on the "Economically Stable" Aircraft Sales & Salvage parts is slow due to peeps not wanting to let loose there cash.for a while it was due to unstable fuel cost, now fuel prices have settled & the mention of recession is a slow killer, people are scared to let loose of cash or charge to there credit card...playing wait & see Sucks !!!!

If you ever decide to let that one go, I hope I'm near the top of the list (like 1st) for contact on it.

I ended up getting an RTAK-II prior to the Ontario-created issues. I haven't beat on it or anything yet (found Busse for that :D) but like it. The handle is a bit on the large side.

I'd LOVE to see a RAT Cutlery version of the RTAK-II produced by Rowen ;). I'd be all over that. I'd like to see the TAK done as well.

I'm working from home tomorrow so maybe I'll see some activity on the RC pages!
