Ok, I think I might have done something weird, but I used Smooth Kote, the BP 2000
powder and the Hi-slip grease on my sebenza... it actually made the motion
slower...what should i do? Clean it off? And then what do I put on it? And where do I
put it at?
Any suggestions are welcome... right now I'm crying over my sebbie...

Don't fret Humpty, I'm sure Mr. Reeve will be able to make it all better. Have a great vacation!

I would recommend that you take your Sebenza apart and clean it off and apply the the Chris Reeve fluorinated grease.

Dont Worry...
You have not ruined anything..
Clean it off and relube..
I use Sentry Solutions Hi-Slip Grease and it works great.. Smooth as Silk everytime..
The BP 2000 Powder is not required and is more for trigger assemblies..
Make sure it assembled correctly and you will have no probs..

Far from ruined. clean it all off with a good grease remover. Soap and water may work ok. Lube the cylinder in the blade (blade pivot). I use RemOil. Put a small dab of lube on the bronze washers, tiny dab on the lockball race on the blade, and reassemble. Chris Reeve recommends his lube for all.

Of course, if you really think you've ruined it, pinched a washer or something, send it to me (if it is the large decorated), and I will send you a like NIB plain small in return. Hate to get rid of my small Sebe, but in the spirit of the season I'll sacrifice! LOL

In response to your question of whether or not your Sebenza is ruined, the answer is probably not. In speaking with Chris, he says to disassemble the Sebenza and clean it very completely. He suggests that you use the Fluorinated Grease that we supply. This is very slippery but does not get sticky or attract lint very easily. A lot is not necessary. A little drop goes a long way.

Any further questions, please feel free to contact us.

Hope this helps,

Mark
