Hello,
A friend of mine was recently given a knife his grandfather owned. it is a marbles hunting knife . It has a 5 to 6 inch blade , and looks like it was made some time ago . I started cleaning it with some flintz metal polish but this only got a small portion of rust off . so now it has one portion were the rust appears to be caked on in thick layers , and another area were the rust is more like black discoloration or a black stain , any advise to get this stuff off?
