I just got my "2000" Ryan Catalog. He will be sending a new catalog out with new prices when he resumes taking orders in October. Depending on the price increase, I am seriously thinking about ordering one of each of his knives.

Every time I talk to Steve or email him, I ask for a catalog. He has a day job and the business end of knife making is may not be first priority it seems to me. I did receive a Model 1 from him. It is all the knife you would expect and certainly worth the money and wait. Just be advised, it is a BIG knife! Dick
Everything I've read about Steve so far says he like to keep his turn around time to a year max. If he sticks to this, you can believe he will again stop taking orders shortly after October.
There is still plenty of time before October, but I am working a an emergency order in case I don't get the new catalog in time. That way I'll have an order for 3 knives in, regardless of the price.

I know what 3 I'd want - the #4, the #7, and the #... ummm... OK, I forget the nu mber, but it's the nasty looking (which one's aren't?) one with the 45 degree turned down point...
