I am sure this question has been brought up before and would manely apply to latchless balis. Has anyone made a bali with the safe handle marked in such a way as to be recognizable by feel. Like milling partial serrations or a patch of checkering only on one handle. I know that it could make the knife asthetically less pleasing and could be of dubious value to some users anyway but what I am just curious as to the opinion you guys anyway?

Sometimes a latchless balisong will have a feature to index the knife by feel, yes.

What Chuck said, plus the following:

Except for double edge bali's, I have come to discipline myself to always insert the latchless bali into the sheath with the safe handle facing my front on a right hand draw. This way, I have not needed to mark the safe handle in anyway during the draw. However, once you've started to manipulate the bali, it can easily get confusin which is the safe handle, and during those times, I'll just put a piece of electrical tape over the top of the safe handle, and go by feel. Easily removed to keep the latchless handles symetrical.
