Summer is almost over, and I have not seen many pics of your knives in action. I sure don`t want to think I`m making safe queens, prove me wrong and post some pics! ;)

Fall is when I start hiking more, camping, firemaking, etc. All I've got for now are stale photos from last year.

Same here! John, it's just too damn hot right now to do anything but daydream of hiking and such haha. My knife should be here in about a month so it should be cooling off a bit by then I hope! Then I'll take all the pictures you want.

I'll post up some pics of my Traditional Walnut Kephart soon.

You should have some sort of "Most Used/Abused" contest. Winner get's bragging rights on your website with the pic for a while or something.

This Kephart will win. Trust me. She ain't pretty anymore, but has never failed me and keeps chugging along.

It isn't "In Use" but it's a picture of my EDC being carried. This was last week in Teton National Park, Wyoming.

Here are a couple of other pictures from the hike:

Hi Stomper -

Only one of my JK Beauties is currently a safe queen - the beautiful Bowie you made for me.

I almost took it out chopping yesterday, and instead took out a Swamp Rat -

I will eventually get that Bowie out and chopping with it - and I'll take pictures when I do.....

best regards -

It scares me the beauty of the maple burl Kephart you made me and then Noah's skill with leather. I may not want to use her.

it's just a little warm here in the Mojave to go play outi in the big room... and i just got my glasses. (still need to go back and get readers so i can fill out a MO and mail it to you) currently i have to wear my old $20 readers from Wal Mart over thee brand new general glasses to focus on the screen and keyboard... so i look like a complete dork, but it's much better than needing to use two magnifiers, one for the screen and one for the keyboard and only being able to hunt and peck with one hand instead of actually typing.

and i'm still waiting for my turn in line so you can build my knives. :D ordered #3 before i got the first two, so there's obviously some sickness at work.

but no safe queens here... except perhaps for a very old Benchmade fixed blade. almost everything gets used... just not used as much as i'd like.

Well Stomper, I just got to play with my Keppie in real ernest two weekends ago out on the farm. I didn't get any photos though, we were cutting up trees and there was a lot of flying debree flying around! I didn't feel real safe having my camera out there with all the chainsaws and equipment, so I didn't take it out with me! I can tell you though, that the Kephart did everything I asked of it and I don't think there is a tougher more useful knife out there in the world today! I whacked with it, I chopped with it, I whittled, stripped, shaved, you name it I did some of it. I can tell you that I was just impressed to no end with that knife. I Love it, and wouldn't trade it for anything that I know of. If I was going to have to survive out in the wilds for any length of time, I think that is the knife that I would want to have with me! Now, it probably wouldn't hurt to have that new LOBO with me to back it up! Ha! Ha! She is a beauty though, I guess that it why it has taken me this long to really put it to the test! I really hated to take a chance on putting any scars on her! Ha! Ha! You do some fine work Buddy, and I am a very happy customer! Later!

This isn't exactly an action pic, got a little too involved in what I was doing and didn't take anymore pics from that outing.

It was in my pocket on my whole camping trip, but unfortunately the roughest work it did was opening a package of hotdogs :)

Again, my Neckmuk only opens boxes, which I don't take pictures of, and my Kitchen Knife does a fine job of cutting up canteloupe and pineapple, but that's not very exciting :P

That Kephart is begging to baton something--wood, a brick, steel sheets, anything!--so if you don't use it I may have to beat you, lol. As far as the leather goes, I stitched and molded it tonight, but forgot to take pictures during the process so I'll be posting more in your "Making Of" thread after I make the horizontal carry straps and finish the set. [/thread hijack] :P

Here's a shot of my Hudson Bay out in the woods this week.
