Wich carrying method do you use with the Trailmaster ? ( free in your pocket, in a sheath, can you put a clip to this kind of knife ?

Thank you for your input...

I carry mine in a concealex neck sheath, which is also drilled to accept a mini tech-lock. It offers a lot of carry options: neck carry, secure pocket carry but with the advantage of being able to freely use the knife sans lanyard, belt carry, etc...

It's yet another fine example of Normark's excellent work....

there are 2 versions of the Trailmaster:

#54854 Trailmaster

and

#54874 one-handed Trailmaster

in either case they are both the Bigger SAKs at 111 mm or 4 3/8 inch long - which is normally considered a bit too big for comfortable in pants pocket carry.

I don't have either of these models but do have in this size the
#53641 Hunter

and the
#53761 WorkChamp

when I carry these - they are in belt pouches.

Swiss Army Brands sell pouches :
#33229 lockblade cordura® belt pouch black, fits 111mm lockblade knives. $7.00
#33201 lockblade leather belt pouch brown, fits 111mm Lockblade knives. $10.00

The one that I am talking about is the one handed Trailmaster...

Numberthree, can you give me more info about the Normark's works, do you have a link ?

a pic of that would be great.

Thank you

I carry mine in a nylon Victorinox belt sheath. The affordable sheath is made with quality materials and is quite attractive. My only complaint is that it is made for vertical carry only. (I prefer horizontal carry).

I just carry it in my right front pocket. Always there and the size doesn't nother me, but then again I used to carry a SOCOM IWB and tht never bothered me either.

roloss_valdes,

Saludos desde el D.F. ...

I have the regular trailmaster with the standard leather Victorinox sheath, fits fine on the belt, a small lanyard makes it easy to get out.

Did you get the one handed version in Mexico ?, I haven´t seen it around here.

If I wanted something custom I would look for a Mexican sheath embroidered with pita, The shops for "articulos de charrería" usually carry some in diferent sizes.

Yes I bought it here in Monterrey, Victorinox Mexico has it.

You can send an email to Marco Antonio Vazquez Vallejo damajoma@hotmail.com who is the Victorinox Mexico salesman, he is here in Monterrey but I think that he knows some people there in the D.F.

About the sheath I will buy something made in Mexico ( something with pita would be nice ).

Thank you for your input. :D

Don Luis if you want write me only in order to have your email address. ( roloss_valdes@hotmail.com ).

Leather pocket sheath I got from McGills some time ago. I cut it to the shape I wanted. Carry in right front pocket.

PS. I filed/dremmeled some ridges in the back of the hump on the one-handed model. I'm pleased with that modification.
