Any chance? For us fishermen, divers, sea goers?

Guyon,
We are in the process of developing a fixed blade for the Salt Series.

Really?

Thanks for that little tidbit Kristi. I assume you can't release any other details?

I cant wait to see what it will be like. I hope it is a smaller FB around 3" or so perhaps a drop point for field use and cleaning game. Perhaps it could have a similar handle to the Morans, IMO that would make a great field knife.

Cripes, I did not think about a Filet knife. Not a big fisherman anymore but a quality rust-proof filet knife would be on the top of the list for a fisherman.

Several styles of knives for maritime industry workers or enthusiasts come in fixed blades. Dive knives, sheepsfoot knives (perhaps with a fid or marlinespike in the sheath), filet knives, bait knives (gen. purpose utility) rescue knives for whitewater rafting, kayaking, commercial fishing, coast guard etc. (I have a design in the making for this one. It could be a dive knife too! :)) knives for netting work, to keep on a waverunner or in a kayak, the uses for a fixed blade knife around the water is infinitesmal.

The frightening part is that, as a commercial fisherman, I have never used a knife with H-1 steel in it!!
