UPS dropped a package yesterday, and I got to comparing the new Endura with a 9 year old version I have here. You've re-designed the blade to reinforce the weak tip that was prone to breaking off, put steel liners inside, changed the breakable plastic clip to a steel one that can be mounted at all four corners, added thumb serrations on top of the blade behind the hole, added thumb serrations on top of the scales, put your dent in the lockback release indentation, and assembled it with screws that can be removed to break the knife down for cleaning. With VG-10 steel that replaces the older AUS-8, altogether this is about twice the knife and a greatly improved product.
Very interesting to watch your company evolve.

I can't wait to get mine, it's due to arrive next monday. It's a great buy for $41.95, I see it as the best bang for your buck in large blade knives.

It's more up here, but now that I have my Delica 4, I am starting to get a bit impatient on the Endura 4 (and Delica 4) I have on order. I just may have to go online an get one:) That would give me two Endura 4's and 2 Delica 4's - Dang - hate when that happens:D

I think it's an excellent buy.
Now, if they'd just stop putting those blasted serrations on the blade!!!!!!:D

I got mine from www.bestknives.com for $41.95, that was as low as I could find in the limited searching I did. I actually only planned on buying the sharpmaker when I was ordering, but the Endura 4 looked mighty inviting at that price.
