This is some of my san mai. The core steel is 1095, and the outer "sandwich" layers are a high nickel mild steel. The flats are left with forge scale on them and the spine is fileworked.

The handle is black and white ebony. I bought some a while ago and sat on it for about 2 years. Now that I have used it, I want to keep using it, but my supply is low. I really like how this stuff finishes. It is held in place with 3 pins, one mosaic, and acraglas.

The sheath is 8-10 oz hand stitched and hand tooled leather from Wickett and Craig. The knife fits well and draws easily.

There is an "in the hand" shot, but here are the dimensions anyways.

Blade - 4" tip to handle
OAL - 8 1/2"

Price - $240 SOLD shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.
