Hey Gundy!! Any ideas!?!? Gundy named the BAD ASS, sooooo this one ought to be a cinch!
The Coot ASS (ugh) has a loop attached to the back of the sheath instead of the snap loop because of the size increase of the sheath. Anyone interested in this for their BAD ASS can get it done to the existing sheaths as well!! Its a good thing!

I have been carrying the INFIcoot in its new sheath and I'm really liking it.
Horizontal crossdraw is a great way to carry a small fixed blade, and the sheath is really growing on me. The only issue I am having is that the knife is a little hard to draw sometimes. I think the combination of the fitted leather and the resiprine-C (sp?) handle makes for a very tight grip.

Yea, the combonation of the resiprene and leather do make for a rather sticky fit but it will become smoother with time, the sheaths I have that are fitted and rubbery handles started the same way.
That shape and color do take a little getting used to but I do like the rounded bottom for sheaths, it really keeps the sharp points to a minimum.

just wanted to bring this back up front. there are a lot of new cootys running around and these are some really nice sheath designs. still trynig to decide what i want for my ad, sj and coot. so many choices
mabe combine one of these with survivors idea of a pouch with a sheath attached?? oooohhhhh the possibilities

Hmmm, pouch with sheath attached? I like it! That doesnt happen to be a Nessmuk knife? I'm designing just such an animal for a fellow right now. Its a buckskin possibles bag with the sheath attached to the back with the handle up. Its a nifty idea that I had'nt seen before and should make for a really handy set up. I can see something like that for a 'coot or Howler, attached to a heavy leather shoulder bag. Hmmmm....

I'd like to inquire about a sheath for the CT that looks like the COOT ASS/BAD ASS (whats the little snap loop at the bottom?) I guess a TRAMP ASS or CAMP ASS (for the college graduate) have you done this knife yet? Best,
