I recieved my new knife this past week. I told John after I got to use it I would post up some shots/thoughts.

Since I am not sure that my uses so far are W&SS worthy,I'll put it up here.

First my knife and sheath, yes there are scratches on it ,but not from John. As I am anal about my edges I touched it up a little. I also only freehand so scratches happen.

John's sheath is bombproof as usual and carries the knife very nicely.

Tried to make the smallest, thinnest curls I could..

Works rather well at making notches..

Besides my Mora ..at 3/32" thick it is the thinnest fixed I own. Shown in between my Hiker and F1.

Even so,it will baton.

And I made a SLO (spoon like object) that will hold about a 3/4 teaspoon of Miller Lite.

After all this, while Nick was eating lunch, I did some pre-supper prep slicing veggies for the grill.

I only washed the knife,no touching up the edge. And while I don't grill thin slices I couldn't resist trying to slice some as thin as possible.

So far John's scandi is a winner to me. My Mora will be jealous.

As I use it some more I will try to come up with a review suitable for W&SS.
