Here is the latest from jds1, the Scandi Pocketmuk. This one is 7" overall, with a 3" edge of 3/32" stock. This one has black canvas micarta with grey and black liners. Cost on these will be $130.00

Great design and execution! I have a spot reserved for September with Stomper and with all the existing models, pics of old models and new designs the selection process is getting harder by the day! Maybe a Baby Pocketscandikepmuk!!!! Now to pick a color for the liners......oh, and handles......

That looks good, well executed and good looking design.

jds1- when you come to the get together, could you bring your assortment of JK's?
It would be nice to handle some of the one's you've got and designed- like the scandi pocketmuk, and michigan trail.

Hi Guys -

That reminds me of a cross between a Kephart and a Nessmuk.

I tend to like using blades that have a slight "arch" to the handle / blade, similar to the Izula (which I just picked one up not too long ago).

That curvature seems to make the blade bite better and at least for me seems to provide better control and precision.

Another great collaboration between jds1 and Stomper -

best regards -

I just got home from a few days on the road, checked the emails, logged on to BF, went to the JK forum and WOW! I didn't expect to see this one yet. It looks great John, just what I was after. Thanks again. And thanks for all the kind member comments.

Hey John, I'll just bet you knew that I was gonna REALLY like this one. :D That back pocket sheath rides perfectly and the handle protrudes about an inch from the top of my pocket (again perfect). This knife feels great in the hand and is an awesome slicer. I'll post my thoughts and pics after some use, but here are a few now. Thanks for getting it just right once again.
