Here is a Bowie I just finished. This is the first time I have worked with Lignum Vitae, and let me tell you this stuff is crazy tough!
The handle is far more green than the pictures show. The blade is 8.25" 5160, with the OAL being 13.75"
The clip is sharp, but not quite razor sharp. I left some trace forge elements on the blade as this is meant to be a working knife.
The sheath is a scout style made from heavy 10oz leather, and is my first time making this style.
What do you think?

Thank you guys.

Very nice work on both! Nice clean leather work. Was looking at some other examples earlier and like yours better. Cleaner edging, stitching and dyeing. I've used that ligum vitae a few times too. You are right tough stuff. Looks like a real using outfit.

Like it all!! The 7.62x54 cases really cap it off! I'm actually thinking of inlaying some case heads in the handle of my bowie. That sheath is amazing.
