JB,
He did not declare it was a Buck knife in his statement. Only that he loves the oldies with scrim........

Or maybe I have been watching to much CSI.... it does look like a Schrade pivot pin...

Your both right, I didn't say it was a Buck only that I love the oldies and scrim... and JB your right it is a Schrade, I wanted to see if people could tell the differences. good job on the pivit pin 300 I didn't think I could fool you!!!! Good job to you Jb as well you knew it right off.

Hi MBJ & 300,

I did take note that mbj never said what make or model the "oldie" was. However, DM used the "317" number in his post above mine....that made me post my comments. 300 you said that the knife in another thread that had a Buck sticker was not a Buck made knife. But, it may have had Buck blades installed. So....just maybe this knife may have not been made by Buck.....I was just thinking maybe someone put Buck blades in it;)

Any way, I have always like the Schrade scrim knives and this one is very nice. One of my favorite wild game meats is bear!

I find it so cool, that the hand full of companies that really brought each other to the top of the indistry, copied the patterns from one another. Thy that now and you would find your self in court for copy right infringment or something of that sort.
