Search Function

I've been having trouble with the search function lately. Either the operation times out, or there is a "server error" dialogue which says thatthe most likely culpret is a misconfiguration.

Sounds like the Search index has become corrupted. I'll update it and see if that fixes it.

One of the hazards when your site is as large as BF.com. Our search index is something like 25mB now, I'm looking for a better way to implement it as we speak.

Have you gotten a chance to work on the search feature? I'm still have problems (I know, it's only been a day, i'm an impatient type

I know how hard you work on the forum Spark).

FWIW, here's the error message I'm getting when trying to use search:

Server Error
This server has encountered an internal error which prevents it from fulfilling your request. The most likely cause is a misconfiguration. Please ask the administrator to look for messages in the server's error log.

That usually means that the server is timing out in it's operation. One of the side effects when the server is trying to search a 25mb file for your topic....

Sorry this is happening guys, when we get our own server, this will not be a problem.
