I have both just trying to see other peoples opion on these knives which do you like better and why? Is one all hype or is it true what they say about both Two Great Knives!!!
Thanks

At the prices his knives fetch these days, I will probably never own a custom Emerson. No offense to Ernie, but at 5 times the cost, I'm not sure the CQC6 is 5 times the knife. Even if I did get hold of one, I'm not sure I would dare to use it. I have a small sebenza which has seen some regular use for a month and works like a dream. Some of the other sebenza-holics can probably elaborate this better than I can.

The price of Emerson Customs is ridiculously overinflated. Signs of this are some recent failures to reach reserve on EBay.

I own two of them, and they are nothing special. They came brand new with scuffs on the Ti bolsters, and one scratch where the screwdriver had slipped out of the screw slot. In addition, the blade material, ATS-34, is inferior to BG-42, and the chisel grind of the Emerson is detremental to precision cutting (to be fair, it is NOT designed for precision cutting).

The ergonomics are better, but certainly not worth the tremendous price difference.

I agree with ya but my CQC6 is 154cm,I think the benza is just as good for overall use and performance! : )But i still carry both i dont know i just had to have a Emerson!
