Hey guys, thought I would share a new knife I recieved today. It is a burnt stag handled Jack. It has a single Wharncliff style blade and has the following specs:

3" closed
Blade approx 2.5"
Burnt Stag Handle
Carbon Steel (1095)
Serial # 15

Had a bit of trouble finding the exact pattern as I am still pretty new to slipjoints. I was feeling a little down about school a month ago and was just browsing around and this little guy called to me. An impulse buy but I really like this knife. The stag handles are very beautiful. I hope to get a lot of use out of her. Everything s very nice about this guy. Another two :thumbup: for GEK

Now that my blabbering is done, time for a few pics:)

Just wanted to add that the blade does have a half stop and is pretty easy to open as well. I can easily just pinch it with my fingers, no need for the nail nick.

Hope you enjoy the pictures (sorry about the poor lighting :))

Great looking knife with great stag:thumbup:

I've been looking at that model myself.

thalestin that mdl. is great eastern n.f. wharncliffe in burnt stag, 2009 issue. blade is 1095 at 58r.r. you have chosen [i.m.o.] the finest factory made knife in the world. in fact before great eastern arrived on the scene, i did'nt think we would ever see this quality outside a custom maker. the only better knives were made in early sheffield, but those knives in the majority wo'nt cut nearly as well.

Thanks :). I think I am quickly going to become a GEK collector

Nice knife, and nice pictures as well, the lightning isn't that bad actually. Creates a nice old timey mood - very fitting. Could very well be intended.
