Seeking review of Cingular 8125 vs. HP iPAQ hw6515

I didn't like the smartphones as I wanted a big screen and phone features weren't important to me. So I picked a Dell Axim X51V a couple of weeks ago and www.aximsite.com has been very useful to me. They do talk about other devices too.

I JUST picked up a Cingular 2125(HTC Faraday) smartphone and LOVE it! I have a Dell Axim x50v upgraded to WM5.0 as well. The smartphone is replacing the PDA/Razr combo and I MUCH prefer it, the dell will be for sale soon.

You might check these forums, TONS of info about the PDA and smart phones. BTW, the Cingular is actually made by HTC.

FWIW, I have an 8125. It's the best phone I have used, and is far better than any PDA/seperate phone combo I have used.

A friend of mine with the 8125 says it needs rebooting about once a day. My Sprint PCC6700 only needs it about twice a week.

The 8125 also appears to suffer one of the great problems of the 6700: no square bracket (i.e. [ and ]) keys. To get these characters -- so critical for forum posting -- you have to go through the ackward tap keyboard.

Even with the 8125 overclocked to 240 mHz mine only needs to be rebooted about once a week.
