Sent my dull MHL Horn back to Jess and he quickly resharpened it beautifully for FREE! $10.00 for return shipping only. Took about a week. I wonder if other makers perform this service as well and maybe we would be better off taking advantage of it?

This service seems like a real plus to me. I would certainly consider it as a factor in deciding who I buy from.

ED,

Could you post a few tips on cleaning leather sheaths. In my collecting, I see a lot of used (well used sometimes) leather sheaths which need some TLC. Appreciate any help you can offer on cleaning, preventive treatment, or restoration for really old leather sheaths.

I recently sent my R.J. Martin folder back to him. He bead blasted my clip, lubed & sharpened the blade at no cost other than return postage. I had the knife back within a few days as well.

I know I never could have done the job like R. J. did. To him & the others who offer this thank you.
