It looks like Saturday September 25th will be the date of our next gathering, so I wanted to get an idea of who will be coming. Please post here if you plan on coming. I will be supplying the burgers and hot dogs again, if anyone is planning on bringing anything else, please put it in your post.

NoahL - tentative
mqqn - stuffed jalapenos / beer
jds1 - munchies / beer
kyturkey - cookies
outdoorsfan - beer / shrimp ceviche & chips
frontiertom - ranch beans

Mark me down as tentative--still have to find out how much time I can get off work and whether or not my fiancee can get the same time off work. That is when we are hoping to be back in Illinois, though.

Hi Stomper -

I will be there, and I'll bring stuffed jalapeno's for grilling and my JK collection for drooling. :D

And I'm bringing beer this time too (was not sure about that the first time).

best regards -

mqqn

I`ve even got my new sign hung up!

It's already up on my calendar, and I will be there! I'm bringing the ranch beans. Might throw a couple of six packs in the cooler too! Hey jds1 and mqqn, how about bringing something micro or brewpub from your areas, and we'll share a few bottles while we are there. I'm going to bring the brown ale from Bluegrass Brewing Co. See you all there!

Outdoorsfan, that sounds great! Sounds like we will have a great variety of craft brews there. I am an X-homebrewer, and collect pretty much anything with a brewery or beer logo on it. Everyone bring your used crowns (bottle caps) with you if you don't collect them! I'll take them off your hands! Later!

Will do. I am lucky to live in an area with a huge selection of great brews, both local and from around
the country. Any particular styles that you or anyone else that will be in are fans of?

Hi Tom -

Well - hmmm - I could bring a growler or two from Rodells - it is a local brewpub.

I'll come up with something good.

best regards -

mqqn, I know this is off the subject but, if that Rodell's brewpub has a coaster or napkin with their logo on it, could you pick me up some? If you can get a few, great, or if they are willing to sell a sleeve of either, even better! I will be more than glad to reimburse you for whatever they cost you! Just let me know and I will pick them up from you at "The Gathering", if that isn't too much trouble for you?

Best regards back at ya,

Outdoorsfan, I agree on the band-aids, and I will bring some! And I am pretty open on beer styles myself but, I like the big dark and hoppy beers and ales the most! IPA's, ESB's, Brown Ales, Porters, & Stouts. What is your pleasure? And what area are you coming from?

Hi frontiertom -

I'll see what they have - do you have stuff from Granite City as well?

best regards -

I`m going to dig around the basement and attic. My grandparents owned a bar in Cicero in the late 1940`s - early 1950`s, and I have some duplicates of some things. ;)
