I received the scales in the mail from Sh@rp..
This is what Izula II fans were missing with the first one! (That being said, I do not own a II
)
Perfect fit :thumbup:
I will say this, its a custom. What I mean by this is its not mass produced and therefore there are some very minor finish details that appear to the detailed eye. Sh@rp stressed this to me when we talked via email. The ant is not symmetrical and again the finish has not been totally buffed out.
Frankly speaking these are damn good handles.
I tried the Izula scales and now they reside on my EsKaBar and was cool with the cord wrap. This option is better although YMMV. Overall this gives me a meater handle that goes full length. It feels like a different knife.
Now onto the part you want to look at
Whats included.
Mark on the ant is my fault.
Izzy scales vs Sh@rps
Attached
Sheathed
Feels much better in hand now
I lost some cordage when I unwrapped it (duh) so I put some on the sheath. Still around 2 feet-ish
Overall I would (and will
) make this purchase again, it adds to the blade in my humble opinion. Communication was great and honest and I received them very fast.
Sh@rp, thanks again!
