Sorry but I just could not let this lay in the back room. Most of us should hang our head in shame. Yes I said us because I have done it also. Another topic started out with J.D. getting beaten up and laughed at for posting his wares for sale in what was perceived by some to be the wrong area. We have all done it. Yes I admit I have and I have only been on the forum a couple of weeks. Is posting our URL to our web site where we sell our custom, antique, collectable, or other knives not selling? Is putting that URL on each of our posts not selling? Is putting our business name on our posts not selling? Is displaying our knives whether made by us or someone else and asking for comments not a thinly veiled attempt at selling? Most of us have done it and/or are doing it now in an attempt to direct potential buyers to our information on our items for sale. Isn't it curious that with as many custom makers as there are on this site that the custom makers for sale forum has the least amount of posts in the Knife Exchange Area. Mike you own the site so you can do as you please, however, the rest of us do not have any such excuses. If the "Rules" are going to be applied to J.D. then they should be applied across the board to all of us. J.D. do not feel embarassed or ashamed for posting in the wrong area. YOU STAND IN GOOD COMPANY. WELCOME TO THE FORUM!
