So, I got my new serrated Mirage, which I would much rather have had the plain but SMKW sold them out before I got my stinking catalog, and for $9.99 I mean, what choice did I have....

Anyway, the serrations on this (by the way, excellent knife) Mirage are reversed - curved outward, and have little Cold Steel-ish tiny teeth between the major scallops. Before even using it, the question in my mind was "Gee whiz, how the heck am I gonna sharpen THIS ??"

By the way, I do have the 204, and sharpen my serrated Spydercos (from before I learned to appreciate a real sharpened plainedge) the way Sal recommends- by pulling it in the same manner as a plain edge.

Suggestions ?

I sharpen just the under (non-serrated)side of the serration, and strop the serrated side side with cardboard to remove the burr.

Works for me.
