This just came in from Kershawguy (fast as usually, thanks Dave!) to replace one I gave my son.

Do you like the skyline?:confused: I think a blue one would look real nice with the other 13 you have. Nice collection
 
you could sell all those skylines and buy one real knife...J/K i just bought a coyote brown with the dlc blade awsome lil knife..rides great cliped to the lower pockets of cargo shorts..that tight clip is great to make sure it doesn't go any where bouncing around down there..
 
I was for sure thinking that packaging would be all sliced to pieces, especially
being surrounded by all those skylines- like a feeding frenzy of sorts.

Just the same, nice collection.
 
I contemplated the same thing today when I got mine...it lasted all of 1 minute before i sliced it open. This is my first skyline, and I love it!

BTW, is the slight blade play normal? The flipper doesn't work if its too tight, and even where I have it now it still requires a little "wrist" action, but there is still side to side play.
 
I tried really hard to get into the Skyline, but I just can't. I have the brown/black skyline and don't use it very much :(

I have several Skylines, and some of them flipped like a champ right out of the package with no blade play, and a couple of them took a fair amount of flipping to "break in".

BTW, I am sooooooo jealous of the 1760DAM! I've had one on pre-order with one of the on-line knife purveyors for quite some time now, and I get periodic updates, but no ETA. Does anyone know if Kershaw is actually going to do another run?

The best way I've found to set the Skyline is to have the pivot loose enough for it to drop open when you hold the lock bar off of the blade so it isn't touching at all. You'll have a tiny bit of travel to play with. Tighten it so that it can just flow while you're holding it spine down, with no real side to side wiggle. That's pretty much all you can do, and from there it's just wearing in the detent as it travels over the blade. That is what will cause you the most resistance.
 
so i bought a 1760DAM from a fellow youtuber and the mail man put it in the wrong mailbox so im out 75 bucks and i don't get to see/ have my dream knife :( Great collection sir! you are more than privileged to have it.
 
Hmmm, I think I'll get a red one, no black, no orange, no grey... gee thanks! Very nice Skyline collection!

but seriously... this is amazing...

also... im pretty sure my avatar is one of your pictures lol i found it on kershaws FB wall like 5 months ago...
