Does this baby need "TEETH" or just a razor sharp edge on the spine?

Handle material?????
I thought about Micarta... how about some suggestions.

I still have time before Heat treat to add stuff.
Top is Convex ground bottom is flat ground.
Made with 1/4" ATS34 with 6 1/4" blade 11 3/4" OAL.

Wow, that is a wicked looking knife Robert. IMO no teeth, just sharpen the spine. Micarta would be good, but use dark green or some other color other than black.

It would also look good with a cape buffalo horn handle, or African blackwood.

Add some "Aggressive" teeth so when the blade is held in the reverse grip they will bite deeply when used in limb trapping techniques.

No teeth - wicked enough already! teeth will interfere with slicing & dicing  :D :p

Agree with Keith - I like Burgundy Micarta or a dark hardwood or any of Keith's suggestions!

This is a little off topic but I would leave the blade as is but remove the finger notch and then do the cordwrap over stingray thang.

I'm thinking serrations on the top edge and plain on bottom. That would still get the same effect I think ZXAS was looking for and still be more functional than saw teeth.
