just thinking out loud here.

is it possible to double or triple up liners on a knife, or are the liners too soft to make them stacked and thicker?

for example, could you have red, white and blue liners, or black, white, black?

or would the results be unsatisfactory unless it was very thin G10 instead of normal vulcanized liner material?

and while i'm asking odd liner questions, does anyone make turquoise or other odd flavors of liners? lime, purple, pink, orange?

I like that red white blue idea.

yeah... cool idea, just don't know how well it will work.

red/white/blue liners with walnut or maple scales would be sweet.

red/white/blue with ebony scales could be interesting.

and if multi layered liners just won't work, then white micarta (paper or linen) with one red and one blue liner might be neat.

John has done gray/white double liners before for someone who provided their own liner material, if I recall correctly

I`ve done gray/black, red/black, and black/white. I currently carry black, white, red, yellow, gray, blue, and green liner materials.
