Thanks for posting that pic Eric! :D I still cant get used to seeing my work on the screen, its really humbling.
Thank y'all for the comments, I tend to be a "little" over critical of my work and it makes me feel much better to hear good things about it.
And yes Eric, you do indeed suck!! :p :D I hope to someday have the rescources to collect as you do! I am in awe of your collection, even though I know I have only seen a small part of it. :D

Thanks Dwayne,
But I only SUCK because of the work of some fine Craftsmen, Jerry and You. YOU suck all on your own Abilities....well, that doesn't sound quite right but hopefully you understand ;)

Great Work, I can't wait to get the Sheaths so I can get some pics of the knives with them :D:D

Croc!!!??? Gundy, you got a gem there! That stuff is almost impossible to find here at a decent price! good find!! You still working on that pattern for the new one? Gimme a holler sometime, its been too quiet fom Aussie land here lately!:)

Thanks for the good words Eric, if not for people like you that know the worth of a good sheath I would'nt be doing what I love!! Thanks

Viking, I can set ya up!:D Got lotsa exotics some a bit less expensive than the anaconda......:)

Hey leatherman....Think you can do one that matches the color of the Micarta on a CGSJ?With maybe a sharkskin type look???Same design as Eric's?

Hey Viking, I am sure I could do it, what color exactly are the handles on a CG Satin Jack? I gotta check first on what a shark skin looks like to see if I can do that. In fact, I might have some shark skin scraps laying around!!! Lemmie check and I'll get back to ya.
The handles on my NO are a little around a tan color, but the handles on the SHIIe I had were a little on the greenish black color.

Andrew, I think the AD that Raden owns has the Nucarta handles if you wanna see what one looks like with the anaconda. I think the handles looked awesome!! Great knife all around.

Thanks Wilco, I appreciate all the comments!!! :D

Dwayne....having a prob sending out email.... Stupid computer!! Anyways green would be great and I hope you have the SharkSkin. If not green leather with the Sharkskin look would be cool too.Just email me with the details and I'll get the payment right out.
Thanks,
Jim

Found a bunch of shark!! I've got dark chocolate brown and an off white, enough to do a few sheaths with!! This stuff is THICK and tough, it is plenty strong enough for outdoor use, in fact its stronger than cow hide!!
If the mail is working give me a holler! I'll have a pic ready to send.......

Hey Dwayne, what other types of exotic stuff do you have?! You have to be the only guy I know who can say he's just got some SHARK laying around!

Heh heh, its funny what us leather guys have around the shop! Lets see here....
***Tegu Lizard: black and brown, thick skinned nasty little lizard, makes great inlays for user sheaths because its impervious to scuffs.
***Whip Snake: the guys that did these skins went and colored them in all the colors of the rainbow!! Some natural, some a little strange:p
***A very small amount of alligator: I picked up a little bit at the Central Texas knife show last year, yall thought the anaconda was expensive!!! Try nearly doubling the price!
***The aformentioned anaconda:D :D
***A really pretty python, not much of that either...:p
***Sounds strange but I have an Emu foot! It looks like a freakin dinosaur skin!!!
***A pretty fair amount of Rattlesnake skins, including one thats over six foot!! Mostly diamondback there, hoping to find some other types soon, like copperhead and timber rattler.
I've got more here and there, I try to pick up scraps from suppliers when I can..... yup, I am a leather pack rat!!!!:D :p

Dwayne, not sure if this is the best place... but I would love to see pics of some of those skins... the lizard sounds interesting, as does the foot?!?!

I bet there could be a huge calling for some exotic skins to go with some of the upcoming desert tan INFI!

I'll try to get some pics up of those sometime this weekend. the Emu foot is a little freaky so I think it would fit right in here! :p
