I've never gotten to work with the stuff, but I remember reading on here that Talonite is usually used in thicker stock than the equivalent piece of steel for a type of knife because it bends more easily. That sort of suggests that it wouldn't make good springs. But like I've said, I've never used it and don't know anything about it.
