Slipjoints?

Steve,
Just wondering if you do any work on slipjoints. I was thinking of having the half stop rounded off on my Case Barlow. Pros/Cons? I know it will void any warranty issues. I have several older Barlows without the half stops and seem to like them better.
Thanks,
Coop

Actually I used to but sold off the things for working on pinned type folders a few years ago. I refer those out to guys that work on them now since the locking one hand opening and closing pocket clip equipped locking type folders take up the bulk of my work. I also quit working on fixed sheath type knives. At times I can barely keep up with the folder work and have basically just specialized that into my first love type folders only.

I'd suggest you contact Bob Pickle for that.

Great guy and someone I refer to all the time regarding slippies. Those are his first love I think so it works out for me to not mess with those anymore.

Thanks for asking. And sorry. I just don't think I'd do a slippie justice anymore. I have made a few but I did them in such a way that I could still work on them with what I have.
