Small damascus knife

Hi !
I took some quick snapshots to show you what I´ve been up to lately.Once again I´ve been away from knifemaking (hate that!) for a long time and it felt good working on a knife again. This knife is going to be a birthday present for a very nice guy and has a blade made by the Danish knifesmith Poul Strande. Handle material : Grey gum,sterling silver,fiber spacer and ebony.Please let me know what you think about it.
Next project will probably be another Scandinavian style knife with a Damasteel blade(rose or twist) ground by me.

Great looking knife. All the materials sure go good together.I would like to see one with about a 4.5" blade.
