Over in the Schrade forum, we have all been raving about how much we love the Sharpfinger model. I think it was one of Schrade's top sellers for 30 years. It's a great and simple design.
It's also past it's patent and trademark on the design. Only the Sharpfinger name is still held (by Taylor), and the general design is showing up under other brand names. It's pretty much just a classic design now.
What the world lacks is this perfectly useful and simple design made from really good steel like VG10, s30v, or
