I took Friday off to hang out with my son. We decided to go on a little hike. This was my first hike since recovering from my bypass in April, so I did not want to over do it.

We picked Mt Kearsage, in Rollins State Park. This side has an auto road that takes you up most of the way, with only about a 1/2 mile hike to the summit. It was a great day.

My son hamming it up.

Incredible view. Looks like those big fleecy clouds were just about your altitude. :)

Half a mile did not sound like much of a hike until I saw that trail. Those rocks look like climbing stairs. Great pictures from the top.

Those are some beautiful shots. Glad to hear that you're back out and about. Thanks for the photos.

Wow, cool pictures, thats quite a view and that rocky terrain is very interesting!

What knives are those please?
I like the look of the middle one in particular.

Glad to see you out & about 'Ol Bud  Looks like you & the boy had a great time ! Nice pics & Steel !

Awesome pics - Good to see you back on the trail and recovering well!

The top one is a CRKT Carson F4 neck knife.

The middle one is a Koster neck knife. These were offered here for sale a little while ago.

The last is a standard Benchmade mini Griptilian 556.

I didn't use these much on our hike, but it was nice to carry them.
