I know taht Buck and Al Mar used to make them, and Boker does now. EDMF's knives come highly recommended as users, but I am wondering if there are any other "user types" out there. As I won't be able to have one here, it is more of a theoretical quesiton, but I have searched and cannot find any more info about makers.

Thanks.

Sorry Jerry...did not know that was a "one of a kind";)

Stiletto is "just" looking anyway, so he gets to see a NICE example of one:)

No problem there. The aggrevation with that knife was being symmetrical. I can't do anything the same way twice, and by definition that's what symmetrical is. It drove me nuts!

Sorry, I didn't mean to over-react... :)

Sweet stuff, gentlemen. I have been a long time fan of Mr. Hossom's work, although he might not be a fan of the work that goes into certain knives :)

Keep 'em coming. I must say that I am really most interested in full-sized ventures, because it seems to me that the point of a smatchet (originally designed to chop clean through Nazi helmets) is lost on anyhting with a relatively short blade. Don't get me wrong, I am sure that things along the lines of the Mini Smatchet are decent fighting designs, but I am a big guy and I like big knives :D

Show me more!

Mike Cooper(aka L6 here on the forums) makes a nice one. Reasonably price too.

Where did you find that Szabo Gladius?
Is it commercially available? If so, where and how much?

Thanks-
Cam

Actually, that's one of Szabo's more "conservative" designs :) (my favourite piece is the RAD folder)

You can see (and purchase) his work here: www.szaboinc.com

I believe the Gladius sells for $1400.
