In the prevelance of the Buck 110 thread you guys talked about the 110 not being fast on the draw. I knew I saw this before on the net so check this website out:

If anyone buys one of these contraptions please do a review.

Now I can go to bed. Hey, howcome I have two monitors?

If that thing really works like they say/show in their video clip, it should be pretty cool. A lot better than the one that uses a teflon stud and always keeps your knife a little open.

It's not neccesary though. Like I said, you can draw a 110/Titanium/any lackback real and open in no time flat. Too many people have been suckered into believing you need a gadget to do this.

I've seen similar gadgets before in a gunshow. They're pretty neat but, IMHO, they're also seem rather bulky. I've seen people flick 110s open just as fast without anything. Of course, they've had lots of practice. Whatever works for each person I guess.

Buck 110 seems fated for the sideshow gimmick...so many people carry these fine knives and are being hyped by such junk. I agree that th one that keeps you knife open a wee bit scares the hell out of me...I gave it away as soon as it was given to me. That point so close to my lovely hip joint, no way!

As far as this goes, why do I want to hold onto the blade as I open in a hurry? Seems like sutures waiting to happen.

Thanks...that's pretty interesting. Most importantly it would seem to hold the knife in a very comfortable position on the belt.
