"Sniff" Will I ever get into W&C again?

Been about 5 days now that I keep getting caught in the endless corrupt circle of punching in the password being granted access then plunging back to the password again like a sicko version of Deja Vu. Its not the same whining here.

Hi Strider!

I solved my problem by abandoning Netscape Communicator V4.7.6, and going to the "Dark Side", Internet Explorer. I deleted by BladeForums cookies and then reset my BladeForum preferences. Has been solid ever since. I wonder if BladeForums is run on a Windows box? Could it be? I wonder if UBB 6 uses things in Windows? Hmmmmmmm?

I agree, I think it is a windoze thing. Using netscape(4.73) at work, on a Sun UltraSparc, I can't get into W&C. I can't get into it on my Linux box (netscape 4.76) either. Only my winblows box with internet exploder can get in

...it must be the UBB software is making use of features that are proprietary to exploder.

This seems to be happening more and more, which is typical MicrSloth - let somebody else create and invent, then they use mafia tactics to crush the inventors...it wouldn't be so bad if they could at least write a decent operating system...

...not that I don't like MicroSoap or anything...
