So... (not knife related) who's actually bought the grip strengtheners?

Just curious to see who else was intrigued enough by the monstrous grip exercisers on teh emerson site. I bought the trainer model there, and have since moved up to #1, which I bought at Ironmind. I also bought #2, but I can't quite close that one yet.

I use the trainer.To maintain a firm grip.I do plan to get a #1 soon.Have a good one.David :D

I have them, the trainer and the #1. These are the real dakines and definitely not for wimps!

Cool... just making sure I'm not the only one.

Yeah, these things are monsters, alright... my friends a regetting a little worried about it... I was wrestling with one of em, grabbed his wrist, adn it cut off the circulation to his hand. And I'm stronger now... doign reps of 10 with the #1... and got bored yesterday and decided to see how many I could do on each hand with the T without quitting... I got up to 40, on my weaker hand.

I bought the Trainer and the #1 just to maintain grip strength over the winter, mainly to be able to squeeze the clutch on the Harley. Talk about overkill!

Oh, anyone needing a Brand new #1. Trainer about does it for me!

I bought a trainer and a #1. I think they are great for martial blade craft and martial arts in general; however, they screwed up my golf game.:D

I've got the Trainer, #1, and #2. I loaned the Trainer to a guy at work, and the #1 is pretty easy now.

I can only do about 5 reps w/ each hand on the #2 so far, and that's after working on it for about a year. Once I get up to 10+ reps w/ each hand, I'm planning to pick up the #3.

I doubt I'll ever "graduate" up from the #3.
