for 3 or 4 years, now. Nice knife. Not a prybar but a very good slicer. I've never seen it fail to open or lock. I just wish she hadn't gotten one with partial serrations:grumpy:

I have both the Kershaw Blackout and the SOG Flash II. Of the two I like the SOG the best. It seems to open a little faster and is made from better steel. Also I prefer the SOG's lock much better. Price is similar.
