This is a piece that Jim Small just finished for me. He did a superb job of both design and execution. The background is inlaid with gold.

I just love these little "city knives" and the engraving is just off the hook.

I don't think that you need to sign your emails or mention the
name of the engraver..... Both you and Jim do come up with
truly beautiful "packages" that are always instantly recognizable
as the work of you two.......

great knife Don and very interesting and different engraving and background treatment. Probably would work well with Gold Lip Pearl scales too.
 
At the time I posted this knife, I didn't have photos of what Jim did to the spine (and the underside) of this knife. Here's a look.
