...and my dad kindly helped me get rid of it.

Cold Steel True Flight Thrower, shot as a Quicktime movie with my digital camera, individual frames grabbed, pasted into Photoshop, cropped and pasted together to form a mosaic.

We got two cans with throwers, one with a tomahawk, and one with an arrow. In retrospect, I'm not sure how wise that was. Some of it might have seeped into the local water table...

CS True Flight Thrower. I rewrapped the handles with some red & yellow cord, getting rid of those knots and making them a lot easier to find when I miss :).

Good job . I have to work on my camera skills . Funny thig is there is a video selection position on my camera yet it is not evident in the instructions . I will have to just try it out and see how I do . Its one of the cheaper olympus models . So far I have had a lot of fun with it .
It looks like you have a lot of fun at your range . Any hawk throwing ?

Yup, lots of 'hawk throwing, and I was chucking a double bitted axe around for a while before I broke the handle. Lots of fun. It's nice living out in the sticks where you can use your backyard asa throwing range without terrorizing the neighbours and having to explain yourself to the SWAT team...

Is that your pictorial with the double bit flying through the air ?
Awesome !
I launch a few arrows out my back door . I don,t do it much cause of the neighbours . I have an archery range 40 minutes from the house . I have two stumps set up . The only back drop is the club house so I have to be careful . Its not much more than an old barn but they are kinda partial to it . L:O:L
There is plenty of land just no backdrop to stop errant missiles .
There is a Tupper lake mountain man challenge about three hours from the house . I hope one day to make it down that way . I am a little leary about bringing lotsa blades across the border . Your border boys and I don,t see eye to eye . Most times if I go ice fishing or visiting they are great . It always seems to be when I am going some place special that I get held up .

Green hat, black jacket, red-painted axe head? Yup, that's me. And I'm based in Eastern Ontario, not the States. My fishing buddies and I go salmon fishing down in Pulaski, NY a lot, and we have this running joke as we're about to cross into the US about how we're actually named Abdul, Achmed, and Hassan, and we're going to the US to "catch the fish of the infidels"...

If You remeber the day some dufus took some pot shots Towards the white house ? I tried to bring a 30-30 across the border just after that . Lets just say several hours later I could go in but the rifle stayed there .I opted for just going home .

My cheapo 90USD 3.1MP camera doesn't take videos too well. When i was editing my video @ 640X480 dpi, i knowtised that a few frames are totally identical when i was throwing my knife. So the camera's specs say 30fps, actual fact it was closer to 20fps.

Wish someone had a high speed camera and filmed a fello thrower in the act! That WILL be so cool!

hey they make orange 550 parachord.......GREAT idea

Wouldn,t that means you had more F:P:S: not less ?

Its less... Like out of 30 Frames/Second. a few frames are identical and there are only around 20 effective frames/second that are not identical to each other... Hope i explained it well:D
